FYI, there are 2 BLS services in MA that can give nasal narcan. Boston EMS and Cataldo Ambulance Service. However, Boston EMS BLS also carries handcuffs and will probably be able to use the king airway soon.

Giving Narcan to a patient for you, is like sticking a tube of glucose in someones mouth for me.

We had an overdose very recently, first call I've seen Narcan used on and it was awesome. Almost dead, came back to life and shot up like it was no one's business haha

I love getting calls from public safety though - everytime they have no idea what's happening and it ends up going out as a priority 1/2 "unknown problem, man down" which sounds so cool but usually sucks haha
